At the end months of tournament play and two-days of thrilling action, the poker league title all came down to a heads-up battle between poker veteran Mick Clark and regular finalist Auntie P - and what a great heads-up encounter it was, befitting the occassion. Finally it was Mick who took the honours along with a cash prize of £743. Stalwart Miss P. bagged £553, whilst third-placed Godfrey Daniel picked up £339.

Eventually, it was Steve Shelly who came good in his heads-up battle with Terry Green. Steve took a total prize value of £203.50 as did Terry. Third-placed Ian Triggs picked up £109 and enough league points to take him to number one spot at the top of the table.
